Dr. Mark Tunbridge
Dr. Tunbridge holds a PhD (UCT, 2001) & post-doctoral internship in Clinical Psychology, completed through Royal Columbian Hospital (adult psychiatry) & Tri-Cities Child & Youth Mental Health Services, Vancouver, Canada (2002/3). His North American experience provided formal supervised training in psycho-diagnosis, psychotherapy and clinical neuropsychology with adults, adolescents and children. In 2004, he scored in the top 15% for PhD candidates in the North American Examination for Professional Practice in Psychology. He is an accredited Full Member (Reg. No. 602) of the South African Clinical Neuropsychological Association (click on www.sacna.co.za for access to SACNA’s website). He also holds two Masters degrees in Educational Psychology (University of Johannesburg, 1996; WITS, 1994) and, since 1997, has been registered as an educational psychologist with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (Reg. No. PS 0056200).
From 1997 to 2001, Dr. Tunbridge was founder and clinical director of the Child & Family Guidance Clinic, Cape Town, providing specialist psychology services for children, adolescents and their families. He is also founder and director of Context Consulting (PTY) Ltd, currently delivering social psychology services to corporate and community organizations. Dr. Tunbridge has over a decade of experience as psychotherapist, counsellor, psychological evaluator (including medico-legal assessment), coach, mediator, trainer and researcher - working with people from diverse cultural backgrounds in South Africa, Malawi and North America. He has lectured in psychological assessment at the University of Johannesburg at the post-graduate level, and has been guest lecturer in community health at the College of Medicine, University of Malawi, and in forensic psychology at the Department of Psychology, University of Cape Town.
Dr. Tunbridge provides psychological assessment and psychotherapy for adults, couples, adolescents, children, and families.

Mia Boon, M.A.
Mia Boon holds a Masters (Cum Laude) degree in Counselling Psychology (Stellenbosch, 2000) and is a registered counselling psychologist with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (PS 0068020). During her studies, she was a founder member of the Psyssa (Psychological Association of South Africa) Student Division.
Mia completed her internship at three different institutions, namely, Paarl Provincial Hospital, Stellenbosch Provincial Hospital and the Centre for Student Counselling at the University of Stellenbosch (1999). She lectured in Research Methodology and Statistics at Stellenbosch University, and was employed as a student counsellor at the Centre for Student Counselling in 2000. Mia took co-directorship of the Child and Family Guidance Clinic in 2002 until 2006, when she became co-owner of Dr. Mark Tunbridge, Mia Boon & Associates. She therefore has considerable experience in child, adolescent and family psychotherapy and assessment.
She has a special interest in medico-legal assessment, especially Care & Contact Evaluations (Custody & Access). She currently provides psychological assessment and psychotherapy for adults, couples, adolescents, children and families. |

Bruce Bradfield, M.A.
Bruce holds a Masters (Cum Laude) degree in Clinical Psychology from Rhodes University and is a registered clinical psychologist with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (PS 0097497). He completed his internship at the Fort England Psychiatric Hospital.
He is currently working on his PhD at the University of Cape Town, researching the intergenerational transmission of trauma. His research interests include phenomenological psychological praxis, trauma research and relational psychoanalytic approaches to mental illness. He enjoys therapeutic work with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families, and also provides neuropsychological and medico-legal assessment for both adults and young people. |

Alexis Andraos, M.Ed.
Alexis Andraos holds a Masters (Cum Laude) in Educational Psychology from University of Johannesburg, and is a registered educational psychologist with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (PS 0085529). She is currently completing her PhD at the University of Johannesburg.
She has a special interest in working with child and adolescent mental health issues, especially conduct disorders, childhood trauma, sexual abuse, oppositional defiance, reactive attachment disorders, as well as learning disabilities. She provides psychological assessment, psychotherapy and counselling services for children, adolescents and adults at our practice. |

Dr. Kevin Thomas
Dr. Thomas holds a PhD (University of Arizona, 2002) degree in Clinical Psychology. He completed his internship in neuropsychology at the University of Florida (2001/2) and is an accredited Full Member (Reg. No.652) of the South African Clinical Neuropsychological Association. Dr. Thomas is senior lecturer in clinical neuropsychology and neuroscience at the University of Cape Town. He has a special interest in neuropsychological assessment and related counselling with the elderly.

Karla Gous, M.A.
Karla holds a Masters (Cum Laude) degree in Counselling Psychology from the University of Stellenbosch, and is a registered counselling psychologist with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (PS 0095893). She completed her internship at Stellenbosch Provincial Hospital.

Debbie Paizee, B.A.(Hons.)
Debbie holds an Honours (Cum Laude) degree in Psychology from UNISA (2004). As a registered counsellor (PRC 0003964) and psychometrist (PMT 0077593) with the Health Professions Council of South Africa, she provides psychometric assessment services at our practice.
